STUDY ON THE CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF RUBIA YUNNANENSIS(FRANCH)DIELS

Six compounds were isolated from the ethyl ether extract of Rubia yunnanensis(Franch)Diels. Based on spectroscopic means(UV,IR,MS,¹H-NMR and ¹³C-NMR)five of themwere identified as rubiarbonol A,rubiarbonol G,rubiarbonone A,1,3,6-trihydroxy-2-methylanthr-aquinone β-sitosterol and one new compound identified as 7β,19α,28-trihydroxyarbor-9(11)-3-one,named rubiarbonone B.
