ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF FLAVONES FROM DESMOS COCHINCHIN ENSIS LOUR

Four compounds were isolated from Desmos cochinchinensis Lour.. Their structures were identified as 5-hydroxy-7-methoxy-6,8-dimethylflavone (I), unonal (II), dexmethoxymatteucinol(III) and β-sitosterol (IV) by chemical and spectroscopic analysis (UV, IR, MS, ¹HNMR, ¹³CNMR and NOE diff).I is a new compound, named desmosflavone (I), II and IV were found from this plant for the first time.
