    Abstract
  • A new crystalline substance was isolated from the ethereal extract of the Chinese drug Dan-shen. It is composed of two isomers. The structures of the two isomers were established by spectral analyses, one of them is methylenetanshinquinone, the other is 1,2- dihydrotanshinquinone.
