STUDIES ON THE ADSORPTIVE BEHAVIOUR OFNORFLOXACIN AND ITS DETERMINATION

In 0. 05 mol·L^-1 NH₄Cl solution, a sensitive teduction wave of norfloxacin is obtainedby single-sweep cacillopolarography. The peak potential is - 1.44 V (vs SCE). The peak height isproportional to the coneentration of norfloxacin over the range of 1.0 ×10^-7～4.0×10^-6 mol·L^-1. Thedetection limit is 5.0×10^-8 mol·L^-1. The methed has been applied to the determination of norfloxacin.The adserptive characteristiee of the system has been studied by means of lincar sweep and cyclicvultammetry, NPP, etc. . The eleetrede reduction procesa is irreversible with adsorptive characteristics.
