ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF PINGPEIMINE B

A new C-nor-D-homosteroid alkaloid C₂₇H₄₅O₆N, mp 242.5～244℃, named pingpeimine B, was isolated from the bulb of Fritillaria ussuriensis Maxim by column chromatographic techniques. On the basis of the IR, MS, ¹HNMR and ¹³CNMR spectra of pingpeimine B and its transfomation products the structure and configuration of pingpeimine B have been established as 5α, 17β, 22α-cevanine-3β, 6α, 12α, 14α, 16β, 20β-hexol.
