SYNTHESIS AND ANTIBACTERIAL AS WELL AS ANTINEO-PLASTIC ACTIVITIES OF 2,4-DIAMINO-5-METHYL-6-(N -METHYL-SUBSTITUTED BENZYL)AMINOQUINA-ZOLINES

    Abstract
  • This paper reports four methods for the synthesis of 2,4- diamino- 5-methyl-6-( N- methyl-substitutedbenzyl) aminoquinazolines. Six compounds were synthesized and all these compounds showed good anticancer and antibacterial activities. Among them, I5 showed the strongest inhibition against L1210 Leukemia cell and further research has to be done.
