A NEW STEROIDAL SAPONIN FROM THE BULBS OF LILIUM LANCIFOLIUM
-
Abstract
AIMTo investigate the chemical constituents of the bulbs of Lilium lancifoliumThunb.. METHODSVarious chromatographic techniques were used to isolate the chemical constituents. MALDI-TOF-MS, HR-SI-MS, IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, DEPT, 1H-1H COSY, HMQC and HMBC were used to determine the structures of the isolated constituents. RESULTSOphiopogonin D′ and lililancifoloside A were isolated from the bulbs of Lilium lancifolium Thunb., and were identified as diosgenin 3-O-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-O-[β-D-xylopyranosyl(1→3)]-β-D-glucopyranoside and diosgenin 3-O-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-O-[α-L-arabinopyranosyl(1→3)]-β-D-glucopyranoside, respectively. CONCLUSIONOphiopogonin D′ was isolated from the bulbs of Lilium lancifolium Thunb. for the first time. Lililancifoloside A is a new steroidal saponin.
