STUDIES ON ALKALOIDS OF PHLEGMARIUNUS FORDH (BAKER) CHING

Four alkaloids were isolated from the whole plant of Phlegmariurus fordii (Baker) Ching. Two of them were identified as known phlegmariurine A and phlegmariurine B and the other two were new alkaloids named phlegmariurine C and fordimine. Their structures were determined by means of spectral analysis Phlegmariurine C was shown to contain two molecules of phlegmariurine A and the connective point was discussed.
