STUDIES ON CHINESE DRUG ACONITUM SPP. XIX THE ALKALOIDS OF ACONITUM PENDULUM AND THEIR CHEMICAL STRUCTURE
Three known alkaloids, hypaconitine, 3-acetylaconitine, and aconitine, and a new alkaloid named penduline, mp 166～177℃ C34H47NO9, have been isolated from theroots of Aconitum pendulum collected on the side of the Jin-Sha River in Szechwan. Province.Acoording to spectral study, the structure of penduline was shown to be 3,13-deoxyaconitine.
