THE STRUCTURES OF YIYELIANGWANOSIDE Ⅲ AND Ⅳ FROM THE BARK OF NOTHOPANAX DAVIDⅡ(FRANCE) HARMS

Two new oleanane type triterpene glycosides, named YiyeliangwanosideIII and IV, were isolated from Nothopanax davidii (France)Harms (Araliaceae).Their chemi-cal structures were elucidated by means of chemical and spectrometric analysis .Yiyeliangwanoside III: C₅₇H₈₈O₂₅, a white powder, mp 206～210℃(dec.), α_D+2.73 (c 0.1, CH₃OH). Its structure was determined as 3-O-α(2',4'- O-diacetyl)- L- arabinopyranosyl - 3β- hydroxyolean- 12 -ene- 28,29 - dioicacid - 28 - O - α-L- rhamnopyranosyl - (1 - 4 )-β- D- glucopyranosyl -(1-6 )-β-D-glucopyranosylester. Yiyeliangwanoside IV: C₃₇H₅₆O₁₀, a white powder, mp 267～170℃ (dec.), α_D²⁰+ 31.55°(c 0.1, CH₃OH ).Its structure was determined as 3 -O-α-(2'-O-acetyl )-D-xylopyranosyl-3β-hydroxyolean-12-ene-28,29-dioic acid.
