SYNTHESIS AND ANALGESIC ACTIVITY OF ANALOGS OF 4-METHOXYMETHYL FENTANYL

In this paper, the synthesis and analgesic activities of some derivatives of N- 1-( 2-phenylethyl )- 4- methoxymethyl-4- piperidinyl-N-propionylaniline (4-methoxymethyl fentanyl )are reported. In mouse hot plate test, most compounds in this series showed strong narcotic analgesic activities but their activities were lower than those of compounds in the series of 4-methoxycarbonyl fentanyl.
