TUMOUR CHEMOTHERAPY ⅩⅩⅩⅫ. Syntheses of 2, 4-Dichlorophenoxyacetyl Derivatives of Amino Acids and Their Antitumour Activity

In a previous article, Zhang and Gao⁽²⁾ reported that some derivatives of several well known plant growth regulators did possess marked antitumour activity.In this communication, a number of 2, 4-Dichlorophenoxyacetyl derivatives of amino acids used as biologically active carrier have been prepared for enhancing the effectiveness in inhibiting the growth of tumours.Preliminary pharmacological tests revealed that some of them showed moderate inhibitory activity against Sarcoma 37 in mice.The pharmacological studies of these compounds will be reported elsewhere.
