PHARMACOKINETICS OF CLOZAPINE IN RABBITS

A pharmacokinetic study on Clozapine was carried out on 6 rabbits. Serum specimens were assayed by a RPHPLC method. Using PCNONLIN program, the C vs t data were fitted to the linear rnammillary models by nonlinear least-squares method. The discrimination among one, two and three-compartment models were mainly based upon AIC values. A better computer fit to a three compartment model was observed. The primary and secondary parameters obtained were presented in tab 3 and tab 4, respectively. The above mentioned parameters were discussed in comparison witch the results obtained by statistical moment analysis.
