    Abstract
  • A method is described for the coulometric titration of small amounts of catechin (0.1 mg) with electrogenerated bromine in a mixture of IM KBr-2 N HCl-EtOH (15: 15: 10), the end-poim was detected by dead-stop method.Catechin reacts with two moles of bromine with an value of 4. The method is suitable for determining small amount of catechin in Acacia catechu (L.) willd.
