STUDIES ON THE ALKALOIDS FROM STEPHANIA MICRANTHA H. S. LO ET M. YANG SP. NOV. MSS.

Eleven alkaloids have been isolated from Stephania micrantha H. S. Lo et M. Yang sp. nov. ross. grown in Guangxi. These alkaloids were found in the root tubes. Dehydrostephanine, an alkaloid originally obtained from S. kwangxisensis H. S. Lo was also isolated from this plant. The other alkaloids were identified to be ltetrahydropalmatine, l-capaurine, tetrahydrocolumbamine, corypalmine, xylopinine, dehydroroemerine, stephanine, d-isocorydine, sinoacutine and sinomenine.
