CHAOHUOSIDE A FROM THE AERIAL PARTS OF EPIMEDIUM KOREANUM NAKAI

A new flavonol glycoside was isolated from the aerial parts of Epimedium koreanum Nakai,family Berberidaceae.On the basis of physicochemical properties and spectroscopic analysis itsstructurewas elucidated as 7-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-anhydroicaritin-3-O-β-D-(3, 6-O-diacetyl)-glucopyranosyl-(1→3)-α-L-(4-O-acetyl)-rhamnopyranoside.It is named chaohuoside A.
