  • A new compound,5-diethylaminoethylamino-8-methylchromanone hydrochloride,struc- turally related to Miracil,has been prepared by condensation of 5-amino-8-methylchromanone with diethylaminoethylchloride in nitrobenzene,for the purpose of testing the chemothera- peutic activity towards Schistosomiasis japonica in animals
