EPIMEDOKOREANIN B AND EPIMEDOKOREANIN C FROM THE AERIAL PARTS OF EPIMEDIUM KOFEANUM NAKAI

Two new flavones were isolated ftom aerial parts of Epimedium koreanum Nakai,family Berberidaceae,On the basis of physicochemical properties and spectroscopic analysis theirstructures were elucidated as 5,7,3`,4`- tetrahydroxyl-8,5`-diprenylflavone(IX),7,3`,7`-tetrahydroxyl-8-prenyl-22`-(1-hydroxyl-l-methylethyl)2`,3`-dihydrobenzofuran-5`- yl-chromone(XV).They are named epimedokoreanin B(IX)and epimedokoreanin C(XV)respectively.
