CELL CYCLE PHASE SENSITIVITY OF CHO CELL TO PINGYANGMYCIN

    Abstract
  • The effect of Pingyangmycin on relative survival of Chinese hamster ovary cells growing in vitro at various stages in the cell cycle was studied. It was shown that under the dosage used Pingyangmyein is most effective in killing the cells in mitosis and G2 phase. According to their sensitivities to the drug the sensitivity of the cells ranked as follows: M>G2>S>G1.
