ELECTROCHEMICAL BEHAVIORS OF VITAMIN A ACETATE AND CHARACTERIZATION OFELE CTROCHEMICAL OXIDATION MECHANISM

  • The electrochemical behaviors of vitamin A acetate(VA)was studied by cyclicvoltammetry and chronocoulometry. The results showed that VA underwent an irreversible electrodeprocess with two electron transfer. The electrooxidative product of VA was a compound whichcontained a ketone structure.Chemical detection, UV-SEC, Raman-SCE and IR techniques were usedto characterize the mechanism of electrooxidative reaction of VA .
