STRUCTURE ELUCIDATION OF TWO COMPOUNDS FROM PERISTROPHE ROXBURGHIANA
-
Abstract
AIM: To study the chemical constituents of Peristrophe roxburghiana. METHODS: The aerial parts of Peristrophe roxburghiana were extracted with EtOH and isolated by LC, the structures were determined by UV, IR, NMR and MS. RESULTS: Two compounds were identified as 5,6-dimethoxy-2(3H)-benzoxazolone(I) and 2-amino-7,8-dimethoxy-3H-phenoxazine-3-one(II) respectively. CONCLUSION: Two chemical constituents obtained were new compounds and named peristrophamide(I) and peristrophine(II).
