CHEMOTHERAPEUTIC STUDIES ON SCHISTOSOMIASIS ⅩⅩⅩⅦ. SYNTHESIS OF DERIVArIVES OF β-(5-NITRO-4-BROMO-2-FURYL)-and β-(4, 5-DIBROMO-2-FURYL) ACRYLAMIDES AND ESTERS

  • Twenty-six compounds of β-(4,5-dibromo-2-furyl)-and β-(5-nitro-4-bromo-2-furyl) acrylic amides and esters were synthesized. Among them, compounds Ⅲ6, Ⅲ8, Ⅲ13 and Ⅱ6 showed pronounced activity against Schistosoma japonicum in screening tests on mice.
