DEVELOPMENT OF RAPID-DISSOLUTION ARMILLARISIN-A TABLET AND STUDY ON ITS CHOLERETIC ACTION IN RATS

For increasing the choleretic action of armillarision-A, a newformulation of rapid- dissolution tablet (A) was developed. The effect of A, a marketedamillarisin- A tablet (B) and a armillarisin- A Na sterile power (C) on rats biliation invivowere investigated. The dissolution rates of A and B were also determined. The resultsdemonstrate that the choleretic action of A is equal to C but superior to B, and the disso-lution rate of A is higher than B. Moreover, the armillafisin-A dissolved percentage of A in vitro at time t was well correlated with the biliation net accumulative amount in vivo attime 3t.
