ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF THE ALKALOIDS FROM ANCISTROCLADUS TECTORIUS
-
Abstract
The crude alkaloid extracted from the stems and twigs of Ancistrocladus tectorius (Ancistrocladaceae) was found to have inhibiting effect on Walker 256 tumor in rats. Two known alkaloids were separated and identified as ancistrocladine (Ⅰ) and hamatine (Ⅱ). Besides, a new alkaloid named ancistrocline (Ⅲ), C26 H31 NO4, mp 227-228℃, αD33.5+61.7 (CHCl3), was separated and proved to be 5-(4, 5-dimethoxy-2-methyl-naphthyl)-1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydro-6-hydroxy-8-methoxy-1, 3-dimethyl isoquinoline by spectral analysis. According to NMR spectral analysis, the CH3 groups 1-and 3-positions of ancistrocline (Ⅲ) are equatorial.
