DETEKMINATION OF AMIKACIN BY SINGLEOSCILLOPOLAROGRAPHY IN THE PRESENCE OF FORMALDEHYDE

The si nglescan oscillopolarographic behavior of formaldehyde derivative ofamikacin(AMK)in the medium of Britton-Robinson buffer solution(pH 8.0)has been studied andthe mechanism of its electrede process has been discussed.Under optimum conditions,the peak currentincreases linearly with the increase of AMK concentration in the range of 6.0×10^-7～5.0×10^-5mol·L^-1 and its correlation coefficient is 0.9988.The detection limit is 2.4×10^-7mol·L^-1.Thismethod has been applied to the determination of trace AMK in samples of its injection,urine and bloodserum without pretreatment.Its recovery was 90%～100%and the relative standard deviation wasless than 4.1%.
