CHEMOTHERAPEUTIC STUDIES ON SCHISTOSOMIASIS——Ⅺ.THE SYNTHESIS OF SOME ARYLOXYALKYLAMINO COMPOUNDS

Thirteen chloro-and nitro-phenoxyalkylamino derivatives were prepared in order to search for active compounds against Schistosoma japonicum. Chloro-or nitrophenyl ω-bromoalkyl ethers were condensed with piperidine, N-methylpiperidine, morpholine, Nmethylmorpholine, trimethylamine, phthalimide or saccharine, and the corresponding tertiary amines, quaternary ammonium salts or amides were formed. None of the resulted compounds was effective against schistosomiasis.
