PRELIMINARY STUDIES ON BROMINIZED OILS NON-PENETRABLE TO X-RAY

Several kinds of brominized oils with bromine content varying from 33% to 40% were prepared from peanut, sesame and almond oils. These oils have been proved by roentgenological and pharmacological tests to be suitable for clinical use, such as bronchography etc., as a substitute for iodized oil.
