TWO NEW ALKALOIDS ISOLATED FROM TETRAPLOIDY BANLANGEN

AIM　Investigating the chemical constituents of tetraploidy Banlangen(Isatis indigotica Fort). METHODS　Compounds were separated by chromatography on silica gel. Their structures were determined by spectral analysis and chemical evidence. RESULTS　Four alkaloids were isolated. Their structures were identified as trytanthrin (I), 2,5-dihydroxy-indole(II), 2,3-dihydro-4-hydroxy-2-oxo-indole-3-acetonitrile(III) and indole-3-acetonitrile-6-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(IV). CONCLUSION　Compounds III and IV are new compounds.
