MEDICINAL LICHENS IN QIN LING MOUNTAIN

Many species of medicinal lichens are grown in the Qinling Mountain, Shanxi Province, China. Over ten species of lichens used in traditional medicine were collected from the local market and identified in regard to their morphological characters, inter-nal structures and chemical reactions. Moreover, a few species which were named incor-rectly in certain medicinal books are also indicated.
