STUDY ON THE POLAROGRAPHIC BEHAVIOR OF 7-D(-)-α-3-(2-FUROYL)UREIDO PHENYLACETAMIDOCEPHALOSPORANIC ACID AND 7-D(-)-α-3-(2-FUROYL) UREI DOPHENYLACETAMIDOPENICILLINIC POTASSIUM SALT

  • The polarographic behavior of two antibiotic drugs was studied. Both samples have fair single-sweep polarographic wave at about -1.1 volt. The relationship between peak current and concentration is linear for certain concentration range. Based on experimental results, the wave was shown to have adsorption character, and a mechanism is proposed for the reduction of the two samples.
