A NEW TRITERPENE GLUCOSIDE OF ILEX HAINANENSIS MERR

From the leaves of Ilex hainanensis Meer., a new triterpene glucoside, hainanenside (Ⅰ) was isolated beside the known rutin. On basis of MS, ¹HNMR and ¹³CNMR as well as chemical evidences, the structure of its aglycone was found to be olean-12-ene 23α, 28β-dioic acid 3β, 16α-dihydroxyl (Ⅱ), (Ⅰ) is β-Dglycosyl (1′→28) ester of (Ⅱ).
