Abstract
A new alkaloid, named desmodimine, C12H15NO4, gum, and a new natural product, named desmodilactone, C8H13NO3, mp 84~85℃ have been isolated from the aerial parts of Desmaodium styracifolium (Osbeck) Merr. belonging Leguminosae. On the basics of spectral analysis their structures were deduced as formula Ⅰ and Ⅱ.In addition, lupenone(Ⅲ), lupeol(Ⅳ), tritriacontane(Ⅴ), stearic acid(Ⅵ), eicosanoic acid eicosyl ester(Ⅷ) and β-sitosterol(Ⅶ) were isolated for the first time from this plant.
