CHIRAL SEPARATION OF THREE NEW ANTAGONISTS OF ALPHA 1-ADRENOCEPTORS BY CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS

Abstract
AIM To establish new methods for the chiral sepatation of three new drugs, ie, alfuzosin, terazosin and doxazosin. METHODS By optimizing factors which affect the chiral separation, the kinds and concentrations of cyclodextrin, the pH value and the concentration of buffer, the optimum conditions for chiral separation were selected. RESULTS The enantiomers of three new drugs were base-line-separated. CONCLUSION The newly established method can be used to study the enantiomers of three new drugs.
