Abstract
Two constituents were isolated from the gall of Python molurus bivitttus Schlegel, oneis sodium taurodeoxycholate (Ⅰ). The other is a new compound--sodium tauropythocholate (Ⅱ).Its structure was elucidated as 3α, 12α, 16α-trihydroxy-S-cholan-24-oic acid N-2-sulfoethyl amideby IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, MS 13C-1H COSY, and chemical reaction.
