Abstract
In a previous paper (1) the isolation of triptolide, tripdiolide and triptonolide from Tripterygium wilfordii Hook. f. was reported. This paper reports the isolation of three other diterpenoid-lactones: (1) triptophenolide, C20H24O3, mp 232~233℃; (2) triptophenolide methyl ether, C21H26O3, mp 152~154℃, and (3) neotriptophenolide, C21H26O4, mp 189~191℃. Their structures are assigned as Ⅴ, Ⅵ and Ⅶ, respectively, by spectroscopic analysis (UV, IR, MS, 1HNMR and 13CNMR) and preparation of their derivatives. It has beert shown that Ⅵ and Ⅶ are new diterpenoid compounds.
