NEW ANNONACEOUS ACETOGENINS FROM UV ARIA BONIANA

Three new annonaceous acetogenms,named uvarjbnone(I), uvarjbonin(II)and uvaribonianin(III), along with the known solamin have been isolated from the ethanol extract of thestem of Uvaria boniana Finet.Their structures were established besed on spectral analysis,among whichall the three new compounds belong to the mono- THF clasS with an acetoxy, instead of the usualhydroxyl group ,flanking the THF ring on the lactone side as well as the same relativestereochemistry l namely threo-trans-erythro configuration for the THF moiety.
