NEW TRITERPENOID GLYCOSIDES FROM DIPSACUS ASPER WALL.

Two new triterpenoid glycosides were isolated from the ethanol extracts of roots of Dipsacus asper (Wall). Their structures were deduced as 3-O -β- D- glucopyranosyl ( 1→3 )- α- L-rhamnopyranosyl ( 1→2 )-α-L-arabinopyranosyl hederagenin 28-O -β-D-glucopyranosyl ( 1→6 ) -β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (Ⅶ) and 3-O -α-L- rhamnopyranosyl ( 1→3 ) -β-D- glucopyranosyl ( l→3 ) -α-L-rhamnopyranosyl ( 1→2 ) -α-L-arabinopyranosyl hederagenin 28-O -β-glucopyranosyl ( 1→6) -β- D- glucopyranosyl ester (Ⅷ), based on spectral analysis and chemical evidences as well as results of 2D- HPTLC.
