STUDIES ON THE CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF THE TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE"DIFENGPI"

Three compounds were isolated from the traditional Chine medicine "Difengpi",barks of Illicium difengpi K.I.B.et K.I.M.They were identified as difengpin(Ⅰ),magnolol(Ⅱ)andβ-sitosterol(Ⅲ)by physieal-chemical constants and spectral analyses(UV,IR,¹HNMR,¹³CNMR,EIMS)CompoundⅠis a new compound with the structure of 4.a-allyl-2,6-dimethoxyphenyol cinnamate named difengpin. Compound Ⅱ was isolated from the Illicium genus forthe first time.
