MASS SPECTROMETRIC STUDIES ON ALKANNINS

    Abstract
  • This paper reports the mass spectrometrical fragmentations and the characteristics of alkannin compounds. The complete structure of a new compound, O-β-acetoxyisovalerylshikonin (5), isolated from Macrotomia euchroma (Royle) Pauls is proposed solely by the mass spectra and confirmed by NMR data.
