STUDIES ON THE CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF AQUILARIA SINENSIS (LOUR.) GILG. Ⅱ. ISOLATION AND STRUCTURE OF BAIMUXINOL AND DEHYDROBAIMUXINOL
-
Abstract
Two new sesquiterpenoids, baimuxinol C15)H26O2 mp 128~130℃,. αD30-83°(c 0.56, CHCl3) and dehydrobaimuxinol C15H24O2 mp 136~138℃,αD26+25°(c, 1.60, CHCl3), have been isolated from the volatile oil of Aquilaria sinensis (Lour). Gilg. (Thymelaceae) by silica gel column chromatog raphy. Based on spectral (IR,1H NMR and MS)analysis and chemical reactions their structures were idenntified as(Ⅰ)and (Ⅱ) respectively.
