A NEW CUCURBITACIN FROM HEMSLEYA GRACILIFLORA

    Abstract
  • A new tetracyclic triterpene, cucurbitacin Ia was isolated from the rhizomes of Hemsleya graciliflora(Harmn)cogn. Its structure was elucidated as cucurbitacin F-25-acetate by means of IR, UV, 1HNMR, MS and chemical reaction. Other components isolated were Ib IIb: 23,24-dihydrocucurbitacinF-25-acetate, Ib IIb: 23, 24-dihydrocucurbitacinF, Ⅲ: C28-glucoside of oleanolic acid.
